Rare Breeds Survival Trust is calling for more support for farmers who breed native livestock
Manx Loaghtan sheep have been added to a charity's most urgent watchlist category due to falling numbers.
The Rare Breeds Survival Trust has given loaghtans priority status in its annual update.
The group works to conserve and promote native livestock breeds in the British Isles, and is calling for the UK government to make more support available to farmers who work with rare breeds.
Christopher Price is the trust's chief executive, and told the BBC's Farming Today why he thinks fewer farmers are breeding loaghtans:
