Manx links to notorious king

A Manx researcher has been recalling the role the Isle of Man played in events which led to a significant archaeological find.

Yesterday’s confirmation that a skeleton, found beneath a Leicester car park, is the remains of Richard the Third has ended a five-centuries old mystery about the final resting place of the last English king to die in battle.

Local author Hampton Creer says there are strong links to a man widely depicted as one of history's most notorious villains.
