Irish branches ensure Island-based firms remain connected to European market
Island-based insurance companies are taking steps to ensure they're still connected to the European market after Brexit.
The Chairman of the Manx Insurance Association says a number of firms have established branches in the Republic of Ireland to maintain their links with the European Union.
Earlier this week, the UK Government failed to gain support for its Brexit deal, with new proposals due to be published tomorrow.
