Manx economy in deflation

Household budgets receive boost

Further good news for the Island.

That’s how the Chief Minister has described the news the Manx economy fell into deflation last month.

The annual rate, as measured by the Consumer Prices Index, stood at minus one per cent for May, down from point one per cent the previous month.
