Davy Knowles gets married in Illinois

Family and friends of Manx blues guitarist and singer Davy Knowles are in the United States to join in celebrations at his wedding this weekend.

Davy's marrying Amber Freuh, whom he met at one of his concerts, at her grandparents' home in Dixon, Illinois, at 2pm local time today (7 Oct).

A party from the Island including his mum Jan, and friends and supporters Bushy's brewery boss Martin Brunnschweiler and Triskell Promotions' Lenny Conroy, will see the pair wed under two oak trees beside a lake in a huge cornfield. 

Astronaut Nicole Stott and her husband ManSat boss Chris are also on an international guest list.
