Teresa Cope reacts to £404.2 million allocation
The chief executive of Manx Care has welcomed the increase in the health body's budget for the next financial year.
It will be £404.2 million, up from £361.8 million last year.
Treasury Minister Chris Thomas says this funding increase means that, for the first time since its inception, the health service will be funded in line with the recommendations from the 2019 Sir Jonathan Michael report.
It represents a 12 percent uplift, in line with an estimated 12 percent increase in 'health inflation' over the coming financial year.
