It's being funded in line with the Sir Jonathan Michael report for the first time from April
Manx Care 'has to' show improvements to match its £45 million cash injection from this year's Budget, according to the treasury minister.
From April, the healthcare provider will be funded in line with the Sir Jonathan Michael report for the first time since its inception in 2021.
At Manx Radio's Budget Special, Chris Thomas MHK was asked whether we'd start to see improvements in access to GPs, surgical appointments and dentists as a result.
Mr Thomas had this response:
Carers: 'They are often the quiet heroes of our Island'
Hooper: 'Time to bite the bullet and build new hospital'
'No final decisions' made yet about relocating dementia patients says Manx Care
'We want to provide a facility for almost anybody'
