Manx Care creates webpage to track loved ones progress in emergency 

It can be accessed online or via QR code 

Manx Care has created a new webpage to help track patients who've been transferred off-Island in emergency circumstances.

The page will provide information about the journey, the visiting hospital, patients recovery and the return to the Isle of Man. 

It can be accessed on www.gov.im/offisland or via a QR code available of posters throughout the Emergency Department. 

Karen Maddox, Experience and Engagement Lead, said it's hoped that having this extra piece of information to hand will be helpful, and will be a work in progress, continuing to improve access to information and communication going forward.
