Teresa Cope says final on-Island service should be reintroduced next month
The chief executive of Manx Care has issued an apology to the public following the service cuts that were introduced last month.
The board had to cut non-urgent off-Island treatment in order to tackle its overspending, but plans to reduce on Island services were scaled back after additional funds were secured from Treasury.
Teresa Cope says the healthcare provider is on track to reinstate the final suspended on-Island service next month.
While she says this is good news, she appreciates the uncertainty caused by the move will have had an impact on patients:
