Cope to respond to patient today following Mannin Line call
The chief executive of Manx Care has pledged to personally look at why a Manx resident has been taken off the waiting list for a knee replacement surgery.
It follows a call to today’s Mannin Line from Mike who contacted Manx Radio to speak to Teresa Cope about his wife’s predicament.
He claimed the former nurse, who retired due to her pain, was on the list for three years but had been removed.
Mike said they had been provided with no reason and communciation from the hospital was poor:
Manx Care has carried out 282 joint replacements via a partnership with Synaptic with 760 further orthopaedic procedures planned.
