It also wants to build a 'compost toilet' on the site
Manx Birdlife has applied for planning permission to install an outdoor classroom at its Point of Ayre Nature Reserve.
The charity is hoping to have a 'sheltered space' for educational groups when they visit the area.
It's also wanting to have a freestanding 'compost toilet' on the site for people to use.
The facility would be situated outside of the flood zone and protected from view by existing banks.
It would be nearly 2.5 meters tall and 90cm wide.
The charity's covering document says once composted it would be spread amongst thick vegetation on site.
