Local man hopes to 'give something back to those less fortunate'
A Manx Beekeeper is travelling halfway across the world to help better the lives of those in need.
Isle of Man Beekeeping Advisor, Harry Owens is going to Burundi in Africa to train over three-hundred female beekeepers in how to make protective clothing and sustainable beehives.
He hopes this will allow them to produce their own honey for nutrition and also provide them with wax which can be made into ornaments and sold.
