Local pub's double to be redeveloped
The Manx Arms is to be demolished.
But regulars of the Onchan pub can rest easy - this Manx Arms is actually in Warrington.
The Warrington Guardian reports that the listed building has been vacant for around 10 years and is now considered beyond the point of being restored.
The local council has now submitted plans to flatten the site and erect a 10 bedroom, multi-occupancy housing scheme on the site.
