Follows alleged assault outside Douglas hotel
A man from Merseyside is due to appear in court today after being charged with manslaughter.
It follows the death of a 57-year-old woman, who was also from the area, on Friday (29 March).
She died following an alleged assault outside the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino, on Central Promenade, in Douglas.
It's believed the two people were known to each other.
The 53-year-old man has not yet been named.
