A new community house in Pulrose has officially been opened to the public.
The old Police House on the Douglas estate has been transformed into Manor Ark, which it's hoped will become a hive of activity within the community.
The project has taken two years to complete and has seen a collaboration of churches on the Island led by the Methodists.
Senior figures from the UK Methodist church attended yesterday's ribbon-cutting to mark the start of a new era for the building.
Methodist minister for Pulrose Reverend David Shirtliff came up with the idea, and hopes the house can bring the community together:
