Douglas store subject to company 'restructuring'
Marks and Spencer's announcement today that it's to cut 950 jobs across the company includes the Island's store.
The high street stalwart has confirmed the Douglas branch is part of the UK-wide restructuring.
The retailer says 950 store management and head office jobs were at risk as coronavirus continues to hit trading.
It hasn't broken down the numbers however, to individual stores.
A spokesperson said the move marked "an important step" in it becoming a "stronger, leaner" business.
