
One of the Island's largest stores is calling on customers and staff to pull on their wellies next week and help clean-up the capital's beach.
The Douglas branch of Marks and Spencer is taking part in an M&S nationwide Big Beach Clean, a joint project with the Marine Conservation Society.
Last year's event saw hundreds of bags of rubbish collected by a small army of locals, shop staff and Island school children.
This year's clean-up starts from the war memorial at lunchtime on Wednesday (April 24).
