Post Office staff found £25,000 of drugs addressed to Askew
A Douglas man who tried have £25,000 of drugs sent to him in the post has been remanded in custody.
Morgan Askew of Gorsecroft appeared via a live video link before Deemster Cook at the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
He's admitted producing cannabis and cocaine and attempting to possess both drugs with intent to supply them at a previous hearing.
In March last year, police and Post Office staff found 6.4 grammes of cocaine and 984 grammes of cannabis bush addressed to Askew.
Deemster Cook remanded him in custody, to appear again at a sentencing hearing on 17 June.
