Adam Diver completed record breaking swim in June
The former army captain who recently completed a record breaking swim from Whitehaven to the Isle of Man, has spoken of the dangers of swimming in sewage polluted waters.
Adam Diver raised £12,000 for the mental health charity Healthier Heroes.
He's currently having to train for the forthcoming triathlon World Championships in a swimming pool due to sewage pollution in the waters around his native Fleetwood.
He says he found the waters around the Isle of Man clean and clear, but is urging cold water swimmers to avoid contaminated water:
