Darren Lewin also fundraising for the Manx Wildlife Trust after personal tragedy
A local runner will compete in the Sydney Marathon next month to raise money to help others after his own personal tragedy.
Darren Lewin, who moved to the Island in January, lost his mother when he was seven – she’d suffered from mental health issues.
He’s raising money for Isle Listen, the Manx Wildlife Trust and a Sydney-based charity called Love Mercy Foundation.

Before he takes on the 26-mile course Darren is holding a fundraiser next Friday (18 August) at The Legion in Douglas.
