Wharton denies string of offences
A Liverpool man who denies a string of drugs offences has made a further court appearance.
52-year-old Stephen James Wharton from Kirkdale denies two charges of unlawfully producing cannabis and two counts of possessing the drug with intent to supply.
He was stopped on Spring Valley Road in Pulrose on 28 January - when cannabis with a street value of £196,000 was seized.
Wharton has been remanded in custody and will appear in court again at a later date.
