Man in hospital and two arrested after Bowring Road incident

29-year-old suffers serious injuries

A man has suffered serious injuries following an assault on the Bowring Road in Ramsey yesterday.

Two men from the Ramsey area have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The scene was closed off between Ash Grove and Jurby Road yesterday from midday for a number of hours.

While the 29-year-old man's injuries are said to be serious, but are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police say all parties were known to each other, and there's no threat to the wider community.
