No licence for vehicle or valid insurance
A Douglas man's been fined after being caught speeding on the Mountain Road.
Liam Bradley, of Springfield Avenue, pleaded guilty to a string of driving offences when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
The 26-year-old was stopped after doing 43mph in a 30mph zone at The Nook on 16 May earlier this year.
Officers then discovered Bradley had no vehicle licence for his Honda Civic - which he had bought only days prior - and hadn't carried over his insurance from his previous vehicle.
He also admitted a further charge of failing to change ownership of the car.
Bradley was fined a total of £730, ordered to pay £50 in costs, and received six penalty points on his licence.
