33-year-old appears at Douglas Courthouse
A Douglas man has appeared in court accused of sending graphic pictures of himself to a child over the internet.
Ruben Pretorious, of William Proctor Court, has been charged with sharing offensive, indecent or menacing messages and grossly offensive messages.
It’s alleged that between December 2021 and June 2022 the 33-year-old was engaging with someone he believed to be a 12-year-old girl but who was actually an undercover operative.
Bail was granted and the 33-year-old will next appear in court on 2 November.
