A St John’s man charged with causing death by dangerous driving is due to appear in court this morning (Thursday).
Thirty year-old Donovan Kitching, is accused of five offences, including causing the death of Gwen Valentine.
The 62-year-old from Winchester was visiting family when she was struck on the Tholt-y-Will Road on April the 26th.
Mr Kitching, who has been remanded in custody, has been committed to a court of general gaol.
He is also facing charges including possession of drugs, driving while disqualified and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.
