Man became abusive in bank after struggling to access account

39-year-old will be sentenced in June

A Douglas man will be sentenced next month after shouting and swearing during a visit to a bank.

Carl Joseph Bridson, of Derby Road, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse.

Police were called after the 39-year-old entered the Isle of Man Bank, on Athol Street, at 9.35am on 29 April and accused staff of blocking his account and withholding his money.

Bridson will be sentenced on 11 June; he’s been bailed until that date.
