22-year-old from Port Erin hasn't entered a plea
A Port Erin man accused of a gunpoint rape in the south of the Island has been remanded in custody.
Toby Wood of the Edremony Estate appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse via a live video link from the Isle of Man Prison.
He’s yet to enter a plea to a single count of rape on 7 November on land near the Ballamaddrell Estate.
Mrs Hughes committed the 22-year-old to a Court of General Gaol Delivery, where he’ll appear on a date to be fixed.
There was no bail application, and he was remanded in custody.
