33-year-old pleads not guilty
A man’s appeared in court over an alleged plot to have £24,500 worth of cocaine sent to him from the UK.
Thirty-three-year-old Anthony John Richard Lyons, of Spring Valley Road in Douglas, appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He’s pleaded not guilty to being concerned in producing cocaine, and possessing the class A drug, as well as assaulting a woman and resisting police officers.
He was bailed and is next due to appear in court again on 21 December.
