Isle of Man should follow UK's lead
Changing the Isle of Man's blood donation service to be individualised, fair and gender neutral is 'long overdue'.
That's the view of the health minister who says he's keen to follow the UK's lead on donation:
David Ashford says his department will work with Manx Care to implement the change and is hopeful it can be done this year.
He was quizzed on the issue in the House of Keys this week by Garff MHK Daphne Caine and admitted the Island may have fallen short of the Equality Act:
