An Island right-to-die campaigner wants people in Isle of Man to start talking about the realities of coping with death.
Douglas resident Millie Blenkinsop-French brought a petition for redress of grievance to Tynwald Day last year, calling for the decriminalisation of assisted dying.
Rushen MHK Juan Watterson was denied the opportunity to introduce a private members bill in the House of Keys yesterday.
Mrs Blenkinsop says despite this result it's a step in the right direction:
