Public gathering to discuss Westmoreland Road plans
The vast majority of those who packed a meeting in Douglas last night to discuss a major local development have voted against the proposals.
The plans for the Westmoreland Village Development have come from the Manx Development Corporation.
It has 133 homes, 20 thousand square feet of office space and four retail units.
But those at last night public meeting at Rosemount were, in the majority, unimpressed:
Central Douglas MHK and Infrastructure Minister Chris Thomas told those at the meeting to put their comments to the planners.
