DEFA urges residents to 'respect our staff, protect your dogs and lead by example'
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it's received reports of its staff being verbally abused, when requesting visitors keep their dogs on leads.
Heavy machinery is currently in operation in the area of Millennium Oakwood between 8am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday for maintenance.
The department warns those caught flouting the rules could face a fine of up to £1,000.
