DoI questioned on plans to reconnect former steam railway
Concerns about maintenance and footpath design dominated a meeting on plans to reconnect the Island’s former steam railway by the Department of Infrastructure last night.
The public forum in Kirk Michael presented the aims to an audience of commissioners, local residents and keen walkers, cyclists and equestrians.
In a Q&A afterwards, people were keen to make sure the integrity of the Island’s natural beauty is maintained:
Warmer than average May for Island
Increased DfE support 'to tackle rising costs and global pressures'
Police appeal after two motorcycles involved in collision
Childcare Credit payments to increase
