The A3 Main Road in Foxdale is closed to through-traffic from its junction with Mines Road and The Hope.
It's due to a road traffic accident in the vicinity of the Foxdale filling station.
The Isle of Man Constabulary has confirmed the closure is anticipated to be in place until 7pm.
Officers are asking motorists to avoid the area.
