Isle of Man Post Office halts deliveries as Canada Post workers begin industrial action
The Isle of Man Post Office has suspended all mail services to Canada following a national strike by Canada Post workers.
The strike, led by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, has shut down all operations across Canada Post.
As a result, Canada will not accept new mail until the industrial action ends.
Royal Mail has asked postal operators not to send items to Canada, and the Isle of Man Post Office confirmed it will return any mail addressed there until further notice.
The duration of the strike is not yet known.
