A crewman died after going overboard

The UK's Marine Accident Investigation Branch is carrying out enquiries into a fatal accident aboard a Manx registered ship.

A crewman died after going overboard from the cargo vessel World Prize during an operation to rig the pilot disembarkation arrangements.

The incident happened approximately 3 nautical miles east of the Swedish port of Ronnskar in October.

World Prize is a four year old bulk carrier with a gross tonnage of around 34,700.
