Route to cease in 2016
Passenger watchdog TravelWatch has expressed disappointment at Flybe's decision to axe its route to London Stansted.
The airline says passenger numbers don't justify the service, launched in the spring - and operations will cease at the end of the winter season, next March.
However, TravelWatch said interest in the route, offering access to holiday and leisure flights from Stansted, was growing.
The group's aviation spokesman Terry Liddiard says the loss of competition could spur BA to increase its offer to Manx passengers:
