
Fire crews from Douglas went to the aid of a lorry driver who had trapped his arm in the tail lift of his vehicle earlier this afternoon.
They were called out to the incident on Victoria Road at 3.20pm.
The driver was released using a hooligan tool and crowbar, before being treated at the scene by paramedics for crush injuries.
He was then transported to Noble's Hospital for further medical treatment.
