Confidence for latest attempt to develop site
An announcement about the future development of the Lord Street bus station site is due imminently, according to Douglas Council Leader David Christian.
During his budget speech to the council yesterday he welcomed the news.
Government has announced private sector plans for the site in the past, but nothing has ever come to fruition.
Mr Christian says he understands things will be different this time, after meeting with the infrastructure minister earlier this week.
