The Lord Bishop of Sodor and Mann has paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Alongside duties as Head of State, the monarch also holds the responsibility of the Head of the Church of England.
The Right Reverend Peter Eagles says his most recent encounter with the Queen was when he preached at Sandringham just before the pandemic, something he describes as a privilege.
He says this is a time of reflection where we not only look back, but as King Charles is proclaimed, also to the future:
