Committee has mandate to implement changes
A long term solution for Tynwald.
That's what the Speaker of the Keys Juan Watterson believes is the ultimate aim of the Lisvane report.
The far-reaching review into the workings of Tynwald was debated by the court yesterday (Tues).
It eventually voted to refer a series of proposals to a five-member committee who will report back at the end of the year.
Mr Watterson will chair the committee but says it's not just a case of kicking the issue into the long grass.
