Owners house filled with smoke
There's a warning to people who have wood burning stoves or solid fuel appliances after a fire callout in Peel.
The occupant called emergency services after their carbon monoxide alarm activated alerting them to smoke in the property.
Upon arrival, the Incident Commander dispatched a Breathing Apparatus team who found the cause was a fault with their log burner.
The fire services say if you have wood burning appliances, you need to make sure that it is swept on a regular basis - at least twice a year if you are burning wood.
