Health recruitment 'a global issue' says Minister
A Tynwald committee's been told the hiring of locum doctors for Noble's hospital is one of the biggest factors behind a multi-million pound health department overspend.
The DHSC exceeded its budget by more than £11 million in the last financial year.
Giving oral evidence to the Public Accounts Committee this week (9 Oct) Health Minister Kate Beecroft said the overspend was 'largely down to the number of locums' working on the Island.
