Cheryl Wallace goes from medical secretary to dinner lady
A Manx resident who found herself out of work as a result of the coronavirus crisis says she's grateful to be able to take up a role serving school dinners.
Cheryl Wallace was working as a medical secretary prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, but has now stepped into a temporary position at Ballacottier Primary School.
She's one of a number of locals to take up a key worker role after losing their jobs due to the pandemic.
The school is one of the few remaining open for the children of key workers.
She says it's important to help the community, as well as earning money for her family:
