O'Neill questions numbers and deal validity
A local rep for the National Association of School Masters and Women Teachers says they have around 60% of teachers and school leaders on the Island.
The NASUWT has joined two other unions in backing some form of industrial action in the pay dispute with the Department of Education.
Geraldine O'Neill also dismissed claims made in Tynwald by Education Minister Graham Cregeen.
He said the National Education Union, which has reached an agreement with the department, has the largest membership of teachers on the Island at over 500 of 800 contracted teachers.
