King Edward Bay welcoming members old and new to anniversary
A local golf club is celebrating 30 years since the formation of its ladies section today (3 September).
King Edward Bay Golf Club Ladies was officially formed in September 1996.
Sue Rutter is the organisation's first woman president and has been a member since the mid-to-late 2000's.
She says it is a chance to 'celebrate what the ladies’ section has achieved over the last 30 years.'
To mark the occasion, the club is hosting an afternoon tea for past and current members.
Today, 25 ladies are involved with the organisation.
