Eight-year-old Chloe Rollitt to swim 150 metres
A local eight-year-old girl is set to take part in the UK's only disability sports event for the 'everyday superhero'.
Chloe Rollitt was born with a brain injury and given a 50/50 chance of survival by doctors.
Fast-forward eight years to now, and Chloe is set to swim 150 metres in the Superhero Triathlon, on 17 August at Dorney Lake in Windsor.
Sponsored by Marvel and hosted, this year, by Claire Balding, the event aims to create fun, mass-participation challenges where people with disabilities don't have to worry about cut-off times or equipment restrictions.
Mum Joanne Rollitt says she was prompted to help Chloe enter the event after being tired of hearing what her daughter 'couldn't do':
