Joey Bear and Kibi Bear are part of an annual motorbike Teddy Bear Relay by Relay Riders UK

Two special bears have been driven around the Isle of Man today by local bikers.

Joey Bear, named after Joey Dunlop, and Kibi Bear, after a teenager who died in July last year, are part of an annual motorbike Teddy Bear Relay by Relay Riders UK.

The cuddly mascots are carried by volunteer motorcycle riders to raise funds for charity.

Today (11 July) the bears were taken from the Grandstand to Ramsey, before heading to the Joey Dunlop memorial and back to the Grandstand.

It's the first time the relay has come to the Island, as Ashley Knowles explains:

The bears have travelled over 5,000 miles through Ireland, the UK and the Isle of Wight.

The final leg will start in the Peak District and end at the Old George Inn on 19 July.
