Contests take place in late April
With just under seven weeks until the Island goes to the polls, the government minister responsible for local authorities says members of the community can make a real difference.
Nominations close in early April ahead of the contests on April 28th,potentially in 22 areas.
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says by both being a candidate or simply by voting, you can have a say in your community.
