It is to fix a dolphin fender
The ferry terminal in Liverpool is set to close for two weekends next month.
The Department of Infrastructure says it is to allow the completion of works to a modified dolphin fender.
During berthing trials it was identified that at lower tides, mooring lines were clashing with a dolphin fender, which affected some winter sailings as a result.
The terminal will be closed during the weekends of 14-15 and 21-22 of March.
The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused.
Passengers will be contacted about sailings affected by the changes by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company.
